| God's Bibilical reputation takes
people places they never wanted to go. "Witness Jonah
delivered by whale to Ninevah."1 In my reflection,
Jesus compares himself to Jonah entombed for three days in passion
and death. God showed his love for Jesus, for Jonah and for us in the Resurrection of Jesus, a new life for Jonah, and hope for us. The central figure is Jonah crowned by seaweed and imprisoned in flesh. It is also Jesus reaching out to God in trust and obedience.
