| I combined a house from the historic Scott Plantation, south of Little Rock, with a neighboring cotton field which I had been hoping to paint for quite a while. I had met many people at Helping Hand and other places who had grown up on that plantation. Oil pastel and watercolor were the media I chose for this early morning portrayal. | ||
